We are people-focused, data-driven, and accountable—to our guests and our clients.**Summary**:The Corporate Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in our dynamic hotel management company by ensuring accurate financial transactions, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. This position involves managing various accounting tasks related to multiple hotel properties, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.**Duties and Responsibilities**- Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Review and approve invoices for payment, verifying coding and proper authorization.- Input invoices and process payments in a timely manner.- Conduct training sessions for property leaders on AP input processes and procedures. Provide ongoing support and guidance to property leaders to ensure consistent and accurate AP data entry.- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.- Assist in ad hoc financial projects and analyses as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support decision-making.- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for all transactions.
