Job PurposeThis position is part of a global and multi-cultural Team working very closely with Global Finance Business skakeholders and various IT Teams.The IT Business Technical Partner for Finance is responsible to represent IT to the Business in the region or across regions, ensuring that IT services meet expectations including:- Accountability for the delivery of end to end Finance IT services- Stakeholder engagement, management and escalation- Business process solution discovery- Demand management- Project management on approved demands following the Alcon PM methodology- High quality operational support deliveryEssential Job Functions- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a geographically distributed teams, across time zones.- Capability to identify areas for improvement and recommend steps to implement those improvements.- Own and lead Finance Consolidation & Reporting and Internal Audit demand process in the region (new project or enhancement) from idea capturing to project approval, aligning with other IT supporting functions on competing priorities- Drive the annual Finance demand collection process to prepare budget planning submission- Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services- Act as Project Manager for approved global projects following the Alcon PM methodology- Accelerate & deliver breakthrough innovation - understand business requirements, seek opportunities to enhance service and derive innovative solution- As the IT SPOC for Finance and Internal Audit, establish regular cadence of IT updates and conduct IT service reviews for Finance and Internal Audit in the region- Capability to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance.
