Commercial Finance Manager, Forecast

Overview The Sr. Manager, of Forecast position entails managing a team of employees to take preventative measures, and create estimations regarding the potential future of the company’s finances based on research and data findings. General Responsibilities Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position Utilize historical data and work with all levels of the business to understand needs to accurately forecast future financial position Evaluate business results and serve as a functional expert to the business client to provide strategic guidance and insights during the analysis process Develops, updates, and manages financial forecasting models and regularly and effectively communicates changes, recommendations and issues to senior management as necessary Ensures senior management and stakeholders are informed of actual and forecasted financial positions Develops and maintains various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and ad hoc reports for management review and use, and assists with various reconciliations as needed Recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met Experience / Qualifications A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers SmarterTogether Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing Employees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communication As OneSensata, we are working together to make things work together #J-18808-Ljbffr
