Panel Electrical Engineer IIMAIN PURPOSES (ACTION, FUNCTION, RESULT)Advise on the preparation of technical proposals, so that the proposal area can offer solutions or products that meet the client's requirements. Propose substitute models in order to ensure the availability of all the materials necessary to start the manufacturing of the project.Ensure in the project kick-off meeting the details of the information regarding the scope, special requirements, critical materials, delivery time, budget and deliverables.That the costing contemplates all the requirements of the project, be it materials (quantity and cost), particular manufacturing practices, specific tests or engineering hours, to ensure that the project can be executed based on the client's expectations within budget and established time.To identify possible deviations that require client approval and ensure that the project is executed on budget, thereby generating profit for the company.To ensure the complete understanding of the client's needs and they are reflected in the final product.Interpret the client's technical specification to identify those construction requirements that must be met promptly, and those that must request clarification and/or deviation, which are recorded and published in the EDR1, EDR2 format and FMIN-04, so that they are known to all areas of the production unit and the product meets the customer's requirements.Manage project clarifications,project deliverables, resources in the manufacturing process for execution and scope changes in order to ensure the success of the project, when required, the necessary clarifications must be requested directly from customers in the USA and CA, either electronically or via conference call.To ensure the execution of the project within the program.To ensure that the manufacture of the product conforms to the specifications, corrections or customer comments issued once the manufacturing process has begun.To preserve or increase the profit margin of the projects.Design the general arrangement diagram (layout).The assignment and distribution of connection boards on the schematic diagrams in projects that require partial design.The connection sequence of the devices integrated in the board based on the diagrams provided by the client (Wiring Diagram) in order to graphically present the distribution of the main equipment, auxiliary equipment and nameplates, as well as the information on catalogs or part numbers in such a way that it facilitates the client a quick interpretation of the information which allows obtaining their approval, either with or without comments.In order to ensure that the protection relay control circuits, as well as other external circuits such as field wiring or interconnections between boards, have properly distributed connection boards.So that the board can be wired/built according to customer requirements.Review wiring diagrams and schematics provided by the customer to ensure that all materials required for panel fabrication are ordered, billable to the customer, and the panel is shipped complete.Coordinate all areas for the implementation of the changes requested by the client once the project has been delivered to operations to ensure that they are included in the scope of the project and in its cost to meet the client's requirements and maintain the margin of utility of the project.Manage the exercise of the engineering hours assigned to the project, as well as ensuring that the cost of the materials is in accordance with what is indicated in the costing and/or adheres to the values negotiated by the end user with the supplier, in order to maintain the margin of the usefulness of the project and, if necessary, identify the origin of deviations from it.Review the execution of work, compliance with special specifications, product quality, customer satisfaction, ensuring that the manufacturing and testing of the product meets quality standards, as well as the specifications and requirements established by the customer when starting the project and based on it approve and/or reject the shipment of the same.Identify, Measure and Improve the processes of the Client's Engineering Headquarters toIT DOESN'T SAYGENERAL OBJECTIVE (ACTION, FUNCTION, GUIDE, RESULT)Lead the projects under their responsibility that are executed within budget, on schedule and meeting SEL's high quality standards. Whether they are building jobs or with partial design for the North American market (USA and CANADA), based on the specifications and particular requirements of each client, the applicable electrical regulations (NEC/UL/CSA/IEEE), the experience acquired in the execution of projects, the technical knowledge in protection and control schemes for electrical power systems, the lessons learned, the best practices in the manufacture of PCM boards, the proposal of solutions to specific problems, procedures in the area, in order to guarant
