As we evolve towards AI-enabled personalized health management, we are expanding our tech team to include an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to drive the development of our advanced health technology systems.**Position Overview**:FunctionHealth is currently seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. As a QA Engineer at FunctionHealth, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative healthcare solutions.**Responsibilities**:**Test Planning and Strategy**:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for FunctionHealth's software solutions.- Ensure test plans align with functional requirements and user expectations.**Test Execution**:- Identify and report defects, providing detailed information to aid in efficient issue resolution.**Automation Testing**:- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.- Work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.**Regression Testing**:- Perform regression testing to validate the impact of changes on existing functionalities.- Ensure that new features do not introduce unintended side effects or compromise existing system stability.**Collaborative Problem Solving**:- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and functionality.- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of identified issues.**Documentation**:- Document test cases, test results, and other relevant information to maintain comprehensive records.- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles, preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry.- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development life cycle (SDLC).- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.**Nice to Haves**:- Start-up experience, particularly in early-stage technology companies.- Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry.- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements.**FAQ's**:- What is Function's approach to remote work? Function is 100% remote across the United States, from Austin to New York to San Francisco. We meet up in person on occasion.- What's the interview process like? First, you'll interact with our recruiters as an initial screening. Second, you'll meet with our VP of Engineering, Sean O'Keefe, our Technical Product Manager, John Elam, or our Platform Lead, Max Castrucci. Third, you'll meet with our Cofounder & CTO, Mike Nemke. On these calls, we're looking to understand your interests, experience, and if you're a culture fit. We will then do a short technical interview all on a Zoom call. Lastly, you'll have a Cofounders interview, where you'll meet the cofounders that have built and run the company.
