The CSIS Regional Group Manager manages multiple teams of senior professionals through other senior managers. The job requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of the different systems, theories and practices relevant to a function as well as practical experience of multiple business cycles. In-depth knowledge of the industry and direct competitors' products/services is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/ or area of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to influence a wide range of audiences. The job is likely to be involved in both internal and external negotiations which will have a major impact on the area managed, and possibly on other related areas and organization as a whole. Develops medium- to long-term plans and executes functional strategies for a large/complex country, cluster of countries, or business requiring coordination and integration across units. Provides input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within a region or business. Full management responsibility of multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning. Has authority to negotiate and make independent decisions on issues/activities that have critical impact or influence on company revenues, capital or business operations.**Responsibilities**:- This role will manage a team of professionals that are in the know about their specialty, whether that is intelligence, governance, budgets and financing, technology, training, risk or control management- This role will drive results and accountability across all levels of the global team, while encouraging high standards and stressing the importance of continuous improvement.- Empower our staff with the ability to identify and drive necessary change that will maintain our mission and vision.- Maintaining open and effective lines of communication: externally through affiliations with government agencies and industry; internally with the firm’s employees and businesses; and across our teams- Provide best-in-class products and services to our clients- Manage by the numbers, and measure the impact on our employees and our service to our clients- Operate in full partnership with clients, yet at the same time independently of them- Innovate not only in technology, operations, and day-to-day activities but into thinking and approach to problem solving.- Foster an open environment that values creativity and a commitment to embedding continuous improvement in all operations- Develop innovative processes and solutions that are ground breaking for the Security industry and serve our clients well- Maintain stringent internal and external controls- Most important is that all of our policies and procedures are up-to-date and incorporate lessons learned, match current risks and are effective and balanced.**Qualifications**:- 15+ years of experience, including 10+ years' managerial experience- Undergraduate degree- Expertise in one or more of the core functions for the role- Experience working in the public or private sector, consulting firm or financial services or technology industry- Experience working internationally- Clearance to receive security related intelligence for a region, country or state- Experience as a liaison with international and local government and law enforcement agencies- Experience in the assessment of complex and variable security matters and case- International Travel**Education**:- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree; managerial experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.Citi Security & Investigative Services (CSIS) is a function within Banamex whose mission is to protect the employees, assets, information, integrity, and reputation of Banamex and its clients. CSIS-Mexico is comprised of teams which handle Security, Investigations, Crisis Management, Intelligence & Analysis and Operations. The Head of CSIS-Mexico, who will also eventually hold the title and responsibilities of Chief Security Officer of Banamex upon separation from Citi, will serve in a leadership role and will be a strategic business partner and advisor to key stakeholders across Banamex. This executive provides critical advice, support and value to key clients on matters related to security, fraud and the investigative process. This executive will lead a team of approximately 220 employees, plus an extended team of contracted security guards, providing industry-leading security and investigative services.
