And now as Vertiv, we match industry leadership with the focus and spirit of a startup.The **Compensation Analyst **will assist in the implementation and administration of competitive, cost effective, and legally compliant broad-based compensation programs (base pay and variable compensation) to support the business strategy.**Responsibilities**:- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR partners and business leaders- Assist with the development and maintenance of internal base pay ranges- Conduct job analysis and market benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning of pay levels and overall compensation practices.- Review proposed salary adjustments to ensure compensation package is externally competitive while retaining internal equity and alignment with company objectives and policies- Assist with development and maintenance of reporting needs related to compensation data for the organization- Assists with the administration of the annual merit and salary planning process- Assist with the development and maintenance of training programs and communications for Human Resources, business leaders, managers and employees on compensation structure and related policies/procedures- Participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive pay information- Ensure compensation programs are administered in compliance with company policies as well as applicable local regulations and data privacy and protection requirements**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree. A major in business administration, human resources or accounting/finance is preferred.- Fluent English- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst with broad-based compensation programs. Experience with a global company is preferred.- Experience with formal job evaluation preferred- Advanced Excel skills- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills- Working knowledge of HR Information Systems and related reporting (Oracle preferred)- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and influence others effectively within HR, and cross-functionally- Knowledge of building and maintaining compensation structures- Project management/organizational skills
