Join us.**JOB PURPOSE**:To work in liaison with Operations Supervisors and Team Leaders to resolve, ensure efficiency and quality within the material handling and warehousing functions. Also to work in liaison with Operations Supervisors, the Transportation and Customer Service teams **.**JOB RELATED STATISTICS**:Indeterminate**JOB DUTIES**:To collaborate with the Operations Supervisor towards the supervision of a multitude of activities in the warehouse and co-ordinate to assure production schedules are met in the most efficient, accurate and safe fashion.To allocate resources based on work schedule, sequence and priorities of jobs to be performed by the team in order to meet the pre-established timeline limits.To support start-up meeting, to troubleshoot as required, to escalate system issues for resolution and to coordinate with the traffic and customer service teams.To carry out all duties / tasks as assigned by the Operations Supervisor and to cover for the Operations Supervisors in their absence.To support all 5S and CPS related initiatives and activities.Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:- Level of education : Bachelors Degree- Experience level : 2 to 5 years experience in warehousing / distribution operations / transportation- Language skills : English, (optional)Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership potential and advanced planning techniques.**All qualified individuals - Including minorities, females, and individuals with disabilities - are encouraged to apply.**Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
