Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.**Computer Troubleshooting Technician**Join our Diagnostic Team in Florence, KYThis is your chance to join one of the largest data center manufacturing companies in the world and gain enterprise server experienceIf you are a computer hobbyist who doesn't have any professional experience in the technical industry but you love building computers, researching technology, upgrading hardware, troubleshooting computer hardware and/or gaming then this is your chance to turn your passion into a career**Job Duties**:- Diagnose and repair failures with computer / server hardware and electronic circuit board assemblies- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and capability to get the IP address from the network card, ifconfig, ipconfig, etc.- Experience troubleshooting computer hardware components such as: RAM, CPU, Network Cards (NIC), Motherboard, PSU, etc.- Exhibit proficiency in the use of test and measurement equipment.- Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic departments process yield goals.- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.**Preferred Skills**:- Relevant certifications and/or an IT related degree (Associates or Bachelors) is a huge plus- Thorough knowledge of computer hardware components (building / troubleshooting / etc)- Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills- Very good communication abilities- Exceptional organizing and time-management skills- Work experience as a computer technician and/or computer building hobbyist**We’re looking for someone with**:- Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.- Experience with Linux commands and BMC/IPMI.- Experience with computer hardware and repair.- Proven debug efficiency.Join our innovative and growing team in a newer, climate-controlled facility.
