And our brilliant, passionate, and driven team of more than 5,000 people globally are Powering Positive Change every day.Are you ready to power positive change?ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following (other duties may be assigned):Manages one or more information systems functions for Manufacturing area.Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of technical information systems platforms.Provides overall leadership to the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems.Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility,Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Own the Manufacturing Applications Change ManagementManufacturing Execution System (MES)Lot Split (including label generation)Front LineMES Komax (String Work Order)MES Circuit Formation (includes S/N Printing) — Mod WOEL Defect Tracking (EL DB)Back EndMES TrimmingMES Framing — Module Work OrderMES Jbox InstallationFlash Test DataMDC (Module Data Check)Hi Pot (Continuity and Voltage-Current)MES-Flash TestMES-OSFM/Oracle integrationInbound (MES to Oracle)WIP/Move Order TransactionsWork Order CompletionMRB/ScrapOutbound (Oracle to MES)item DataWork OrdersBOMValidation of escalated process-system issues and the impact of containment fix and permanent resolutionCoordination of business user testing and code deploymentMESOracleParticipates in Change Review Board (CRB) to review and prioritize business requests enhancements or new featuresParticipates in project Stage Gate Review Board (SGRB) as needed, depends on scope, duration and costAnalyze existing process and system related issues and their interdependenciesRecommend containment for critical mission areas and identify permanent actions for complete resolution using 3WI, FMEA, but not limited to these toolsDrive multiple Manufacturing and Supply Chain improvement initiativesDrives P1 and P2 issues to immediate resolution and engages third party system integrators, if needed, to deep dive on the root causes and resolution impactAnalyze data trends and improvements for MES-Oracle integration (data variance, exception log, error reports)Provide excellent communications specifically in regard to representing and justifying customers’ requirements to technical team and business usersLease between manufacturing and supply chain business usersDrive and challenge business requirements on their assumptions of how they will successfully support the business processDevelop requirements specifications, functional and technical specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.Support any manufacturing and supply chain related projectsComplies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Company Quality standards, rules, and regulationsRELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in computer science or IT engineering, industrial engineering.At least 3 years’ experience in using subversion source controlDemonstrated knowledge on software architecture patternsDemonstrated knowledge on Change Management and Issue ManagementDemonstrated expert knowledge in a particular web technology Java, PHP or Python programming languageDemonstrated background knowledge in other software programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, Visual Basic, VB.NET, Oracle PL/SQL)Demonstrated expert knowledge in collecting business requirements, analyzing, building, debugging, following code release process and change management processDemonstrated expert knowledge in Manufacturing Execution systems (BOM, Work Order Management, Product Management, Transaction Management, Packaging, Equipment Maintenance)Demonstrated expert knowledge in minor MES integration with ERPDemonstrated ability to write self-documenting software artifactsDemonstrated expert knowledge in OOP-Object Oriented Programming methodologyExpert knowledge in enterprise data modeling and database optimizations/best practicesDemonstrated advance knowledge in SQL (Oracle and MSSQL server).5 years’ experience in supporting scalable medium to large scale production environments.Demonstrated ability to reduce system design debt and code quality debt.Preferred QualificationsA bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical disciplineDemonstrated mastery of multiple software development disciplines (Agile Scrum, SDLC, Iterati
