**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.- Work with Automation team on daily basis planning, executing, and enhancing test automation infrastructure involving functional and load tests.- Remain involved in the design and development of test automation scripts using Java, Selenium Grid, and TestNG, on a Page Object Model (POM) Based framework.- Write and utilize large scale functional test automation for regression- Find more efficient ways to design, develop, maintain and execute functional automation- Maintain fair understanding of writing custom x-paths and generating reliable web-element identifiers for Selenium API- Update and maintain traceability matrices to ensure test coverage with the approval of QA Leadership- Execute test scripts accurately and efficiently- Capture and communicate the results of testing accurately and clearly- Provide an accurate report of test progress to the QA Leadership team and follow up with development team on defects; may participate in root cause analysis discussions for all defects- Pro-actively follow up with QA management on issues and escalations and provide suggestions for possible resolutions- Work with members of Business Analysis, Application Development, and Project Management to assure timely completion of testing plans- Assist in all phases of code deployments**Minimum Skills and Competencies**:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- Bachelor Degree- 3+ years of experience in carrying out independent test automation responsibilities- Experience and expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and Java, JavaScript.- Experience in understanding of web-based front-end testing technologies and methodologies (Selenium, JSON, JavaScript, XML, REST API, etc.)- Good understanding of source control management, build processes, test environments, bug life cycle, and frequent code release deployment QA support activities- Experience with manual API testing using postman, swagger, SoapUI.- Must possess some knowledge and experience working in these domains: C#,.Net, Java, JavaScript, CSS, Jenkins, TestNG, Extent Report, AzureDevops, Protractor, Docker, Jenkins, SQL, HTML, DOM/POM, Xpath, Git, CI/CD, virtual environment, Selenium Grid, Cloud, Angular, iOS, Linux- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills**Desired Skills: *- QA professional with automation background- QA with a passion to code for test***Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per month**Experience**:- Automation Testing: 3 years (preferred)- Selenium: 3 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (required)
