Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better futureTactical Inventory Planner for North America RegionAbout The RoleReporting into the Regional Inventory Manager for North- and South America, in this role as Tactical Inventory Planner, North America, you will be part of a small team responsible for tactical inventory planning for North America, for inventory in manufacturing sites, distribution center and satellite warehouses in the region.The position offers a unique opportunity to join a truly international company with profound history and where sustainability and the drive towards zero-emission is a key part to contribute to a greener future.About The DepartmentYou will join a team of Supply Chain professionals supporting the global FLSmidth business. The team members of the virtual team are based in the Americas, Europe/Africa and Asia/Pacific as well as Chennai and Copenhagen, driving inventory management/processes/governance to support the global FLSmidth business.We know you have a life outside of work which is why we offer a range of benefits that allow you to plan your life accordingly. We therefore endeavor to promote a lifestyle that meets your individual needs while also enabling you to be fully engaged at work.Your responsibilities- Responsible for tactical inventory planning for locations under geographical scope- Leads tactical inventory planning review as part of global SI&OP process to develop and calculate optimal inventory levels- Analyses sales data, trends, and customer demand to develop optimal inventory plans- Employs inventory policies in coordination with Regional Inventory Manager- Measured on inventory availability, total inventory value, inventory turnover for agreed inventory types, SLOB reduction.- Main point of contact towards regional stakeholders (Regional Inventory Manager, global product line management, procurement, regional/global demand planning, global supply planning, logistics, order handling, sales)What you bring- MSc/BSc in Business Administration or Supply Chain or the equivalent knowledge acquired from extensive experience from the warehouse or inventory management field.- Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory planning.- Well-developed communication skills, both interpersonal and organizational- Rapid and thorough independent decision making and creative problem-solving skills- Preferably experience with implementing centralized inventory planning and SI&OP process.- Rapid and thorough independent decision making and creative problem-solving skillsWhat we offer- Competitive benefit package including life health insurance options (Seguro de Gastos Médicos Mayores y Menores).- Savings fund up to 13% and Christmas allowance (aguinaldo) of 30 days- Meal tickets- An equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.- A global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunitiesNo recruiters and unsolicited agency referrals please.
