Solution Architect – Mexico This role reports to the AMER architecture domain and will follow client instances in Mexico & Latam regions, with potential work in other AMER locations. Your Responsibilities Client Facing – Acts as functional design authority for client instances throughout the Murex platform lifecycle. Sales Process Define solution blueprints during advanced sales, focusing on innovative delivery approaches such as DevOps or SaaS. Provide design inputs that shape delivery service proposals. Influence the Murex development roadmap based on presales feedback. Delivery Process (Greenfield, Extension, Upgrades) Refine solution blueprints in early implementation phases. Ensure optimal integration and scalability of Murex functional & technical components during design, build and deployment. Maximize quality by maintaining maintainability, operability and reducing technical/functional debt. Lead complex technology & integration subjects at strategic clients. Define test or migration strategy with optimal coverage of functional & technical components, focusing on test automation. Influence the Murex development roadmap based on delivery feedback. Post Delivery (Instance Lifecycle) Provide solution impact analysis during the lifecycle of the instance. Monitor instance quality based on agreed KPIs. Influence the Murex development roadmap based on delivery of ongoing initiatives. Domain Development Share market and industry trend awareness with the AMER Architecture Domain. On‑board architects through building solution expertise in key areas or specific geographic regions. Propose and lead initiatives and innovation around architecture activities. Provide feedback and contribute to existing and new service or product offers. Qualifications Core Investment Banking/Capital Markets Knowledge – Expertise in Murex or competitors such as Calypso, Openlink. Asset Classes (Core and Specific) – Core: OTC derivatives (IR, Credit, FX, Fixed Income). Specific: Equities or Commodities a plus. Functional Expertise (at least two areas) – Front‑Office & Valuation, Enterprise Risk Management, Operations, Finance & Collateral (incl. Transaction Reporting). Industry Ecosystem Knowledge – Trading venues, trade messaging, confirmation/matching platforms, data providers, risk & collateral solutions, accounting systems, settlement infrastructure, transaction or regulatory reporting. Technical & System Knowledge – System design & integration patterns with UML, Visio; DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins); Cloud (AWS, Azure); testing automation tools; project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, CI/CD).
