Engineering Director Ams

The Engineering Director for Manufacturing Design & Implementation (MD&I) in AMS is responsible for leading the regional engineering team at our factories in Monterrey (MX) and Richmond (US). This team consists of project managers and technology managers focused on global technology implementation within moulding and internal material logistics. The Director will oversee the execution of regional technology projects in collaboration with Global Teams and local Operations. This position collaborates with the Sr. Director of MD&I and works alongside 7 peers in the leadership team, covering all manufacturing sites globally.**What your day will look like**:- Lead and handle the regional engineering team in Monterrey (MX) and Richmond (US), encouraging a collaborative and high-performance culture.- Supervise the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget requirements.- Serve as the vital link between regional and global leaders, driving effective communication and collaboration within our leadership team and across projects.- Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team, promoting professional growth and skill improvement.- Lead team member relationships, including factory management, suppliers, and external partners, to support project success.- Supervise and report on project progress, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership.- Champion innovation and technology adoption to enhance operational efficiency.**Are you up for the challenge?**- Experience as Engineering Director or similar, with experience in a leadership position in a maufacturing or industrial environment.- **Project Management**: Proven track record of optimally leading and delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.- **Technical Expertise**: Strong understanding of engineering technologies and processes, with shown experience in the implementation of innovative solutions and systems across various projects.
