Come join our team**Summary**: VES is looking for a **Cost Accountant** to join our team in our **Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico** location. This person will plan and carries out procedures and policies related to all phases of cost-related accounting activity.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. **Other duties may be assigned.- Will be responsible for coordinating and reconciling accounting records related to costs.- Coordinate monthly accruals, repair costing and cost apportionments.- Cost Accountant will be in charge of verifying the reconciliations of raw material accounts, reconciliations of work in process accounts and to review the reconciliations of materials in the different warehouses.- Cost Accountant will be in charge of preparing the accounting integrations, verifying and doing the costing of the different production processes of the company and verifying the stock in the warehouse.- Support in entering into the SAP system the costing of the different products of the company and send the information of the costing process to operate in SAP and subsequent reconciliation.- Document processes and work instructions from different areas that impact cost accounting.- Review and analyze weekly expenses with account owners to ensure proper recording of expenses.- Review production processes to determine actual consumption of materials.- Will update labor quotas and manufacturing expenses and update formulas for each of the company's product lines; this may be for a particular product line or multiple product lines.- Weekly or biweekly review of costs with operations.**Education and/or Experience**:Completed Accounting, Public Accountant, Private Accountant, Business Administration or related field.- Bilingual English/Spanish.- SAPThank you for your interest in a career with Varel Energy Solutions.Thank you for your interest in a career with Varel Energy Solutions.p8y73rhj4W
