**Business Administration and Operational Management**:**Main activities**:Business Administration and Operational Management will participate in business activities, supporting Senior Managers with BAU & non-BAU activities, cyclical work pieces such as Fixed Asset management and Annual Reporting and short term initiatives. They are located in BAU teams and would report to a Senior Manager.This job is not client facing and does not have any portfolios. Those employees fulfilling a Business Administration and Operational Management role are expected to possess knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, direct & indirect cost, communication, and people management processes in the context of the business area they are located in but are not expected to have specific product knowledge relating to the business but is desirable to have knowledge in the function in which they are located.**Principal and Responsibilities**- Assisting with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area aims.- Participate and support in business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning.- Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback.- Support the development and monitoring of internal governance activities.- Evaluate and analyse management information relating direct and indirect cost, including local supliers and intercompany payments.- Act as controller of the IT cost- Management of the prepayment items anf financial reporting related- Fixed asset administration- Business partnering with ITID and Finance, mainly**Requirements**:**Requirements**:- Analytical ability and strong financial modelling understanding- Experience in finance institution, in a finance area with high interaction with the business.- Ability to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of management locally and globally.- Demonstrable experience of building good MIs and storytelling.- Finance professional- Proven record of being able to work and deliver under pressure according to tight deadlines.- Strong English language skills (written and spoken)- Decision-making capability- Solid communication (verbal and written), ability to present in front of large audience and negotiating skills.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and where their opinions count.
