Improve the working conditionsusing Engineering techniques, update the standard times for all activities on the production areas,perform 5 “s” audits and give follow up to the KOS savings. To be successful in this role, theof waste activities, and implement effective actions to reduce them.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES1. Develops activities such as: Cycle time reduction, worker effort and inventory reduction, floorimprovement, to improve work conditions, reducing or eliminating waste.2. Give follow up to activities such as: Cycle time reduction, worker effort and inventory reduction,floor improvement, to improve work conditions, reducing or eliminating waste, using the 7 wastereduction forms.3. Analyze the process to determine the adequate work conditions, related to space, layouts,lighting, breaks, manpower, tools and equipment.4. Support activities to complete time studies, slip weight, glaze weight, fired weight, pack weightare updated in both Plants to determine the cost of each product.5. Support activities during the KOS events and support all the teams on the methodology6. Maintain Standard Work studies updated with no more than 1 years old.7. Knowledge and participation in creation, analysis and implementation of projects generatedfrom Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Connection Maps, Standard Work, OEE%, SMED, 5´S,KANBAN, Capacity Analysis, Time and Motion Studies.8. Lay-outs update in AUTOCAD based on the required changes.9. Maintain the Layered Process Audit updated and standardized.10.Give follow up to achieve KOS Savings goals and report savings in monthly basis, achieve thegoals and create new list for every year.11. Provide support to all areas in the plant on structural fabrication to improve productivity, safetyand quality (Kaizen Team)12.Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position (SeeResponsibilities chart by position).Position Opportunity Statement + Specific Responsibilities here.**Skills/Requirements**EDUCATION:Preference Bachelor Degree in Engineering.EXPERIENCE:Preference Two years of related experience.FORMATION:Preference must have the ability to understand SAP and VIS systems, Standard Cost and BOMstructure.
