Staff Accountant

**Duties and Responsibilities**- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and supporting schedules to support the successful completion of the local and group consolidations, audits, and tax requirements.- Prepare complete and accurate journal entries.- Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards and company policy.- Reconcile, analyze, and adjust GL accounts and maintain accurate details in support of the general ledger account balances.- Prepare variance analysis and correct errors/resolve discrepancies.- Prepare bank reconciliations including foreign bank accounts.- Assist with correspondence with corporate office, tax authorities, external auditors, and others as needed to correctly account for and report financial information.- Collaborate with other departments to achieve accurate and prompt financial reporting.- Assist management team in process improvement initiatives in all disciplines of accounting including documenting procedures, work instructions, and process flow memos.- Identify process improvement opportunities.- Support management team with special projects and other related duties.**Competencies and Skills**- Detail-oriented, highly organized, process-driven, and competent in math.- Team player with great interpersonal and analytical skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Ability to problem solve in a multi-task environment, adapt to multiple demands and shifting/competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.- Ability to handle and analyze large amounts of data.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.- Possess the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.- Evidence of strong grasp of accounting principles.- Intellectually curious, creative, and collaborative.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically skilled in Excel.**Offer**- Monthly Salary up to $30,000.00 MXN according to skills.- Annual Performance Bonus 8% (Annual Salary).- Medical Expense Insurance.- Life Insurance.**Law Benefits**:- 12 days of vacations.- 65% vacation prime.- 30 days of salary “Aguinaldo”.- Pantry vouchers 10% “Vales de Despensa”.- Saving Fund 13% “Fondo de Ahorro”.**Work Schedule**- Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.- Work area: Álamo Industrial, Tlaquepaque, Jalisco.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $30,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Aumentos salariales- Seguro de vida- Servicio de comedor- Servicio de comedor con descuento- Vales de despensaLugar de trabajo: remoto híbrido en 45593, Álamo Industrial, Jal.
