Descripción del trabajo Site Project Manager Location: Guadalajara Job Type: Contract Salary: £550-£625 per day (6 days per week) Contract Length: Approx. 18 months (3‑4 months initial project + 14 months next project) Company: LTD Company, Outside IR35 We are working in partnership with one of the UK's leading process engineering companies. The business focuses on the delivery of turnkey engineering projects for the Drinks, Food and Pharmaceutical industries, delivering bespoke projects from concept design through to installation and commissioning at site. As part of their growth, they are currently working on a major project in Mexico, and they need an experienced Site-based Project Manager to ensure that the project is delivered on time and to budget. The Role Your key role as Site Project Manager will be: Site coordination for all Electrical, Mechanical and Civil works on site Focal point for liaising with the client's site team Managing variations to scope, time and cost as the project progresses Identifying the biggest risks to successful completion of the project and creating action points to mitigate those risks Identifying problems on site and sourcing solutions through teams on site or the supply chain Looking at different product specifications to help enhance the programme where appropriate Checking, challenging and driving construction activities on site to ensure the project is delivered Ensuring health & safety is the priority for all activities Making decisions on when to take the lead on conversations and negotiations with suppliers during the project Providing regular reports on project progress, performance vs budget and cost to complete Ensuring customer expectations are managed accordingly during the project lifecycle and that communication around project milestones and payment schedules are clear. Available immediately and willing to travel and work on site in Mexico for 2‑3 months at a time Experience & Skills: Previous experience working overseas would be beneficial Experience in a similar Site Project Manager role within an engineering environment (O&G, Chemical Plants, Petro‑Chemical Plant, Nuclear sites, Food and Beverage) Site Project Management experience of electrical, mechanical and civil works Strong relationship building ability Ability to identify and mitigate scope and cost related risks on engineering projects Previous experience managing a large site-based project Problem identification and solving skills The Benefits £550‑£625 per day (6 days per week) Outside IR35 – LTD Company Contract Accommodation, flights, travel to/from site will all be paid for by the client ATA Recruitment specialises in Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Civil, Transportation and general Engineering recruitment on both a permanent and contract basis.
