Provide automakers with cutting-edge equipment and solutions to develop tomorrow’s clean and connected car.- Under the leadership of the Global IT Infrastructure Operations Leader for network, the **Global IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist- Network**provides L2/L3 operations support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of network infrastructures,**across Regions and Business Groups.- He/she interacts with Regional IT operations teams and the Innovation & Technology Office, ensuring consistent service delivery and troubleshooting assistance.**Main activities include**:**NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT**- Provides L2/L3 support for network infrastructures (DC & Server Room LAN & WAN, Site & Factory LAN & WLAN, External Access, SDWAN, DHCP, DNS, monitoring, NAC, FW), ensuring smooth and efficient operations.- Manages the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.- Manages the integration and operation of network services within cloud environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.- Implements disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network operations, ensuring network resilience and data protection.- Ensures the Implementation and uphold of IT standards, policies, and best practices defined at a Group Level**STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION**- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the Service Desk.- Interacts with Regional IT operations teams and the Innovation & Technology Office, to provide expert support and troubleshooting assistance in network management.**Required profile and experience**:- University degree or Engineering School with IT/IS specialization or equivalent by experience.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on datacenter operations, server management, and cloud services.- Expertise in the exploitation, maintenance, administration, supervision, and support of IT services related to network operations.- In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.- Knowledge of antivirus solutions, cybersecurity practices, and compliance requirements to ensure secure and compliant network operations.- Proficiency in network protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.- Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, to ensure best practices in service delivery and support for network operations**Key behavioral skills**:- Teamwork- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work environments.- Commitment to providing high-quality service and support to internal and external stakeholders.**Date**:19 Sept 2025**Location**:Leon, MX**Job Requisition ID**:
