Production Planner

**Overview**:The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules that align with customer demand, resource availability, and operational capacity. Operating in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, this role ensures timely delivery and efficient production by collaborating closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams.**Key Responsibilities**:- **Scheduling & Planning**:- Create and maintain production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) based on forecasts and orders.- Adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, materials, or capacity.- Optimize production flow to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.- **Inventory Management**:- Coordinate material availability with procurement and inventory teams.- Monitor stock levels to prevent overproduction and shortages.- Support JIT practices and lead inventory counts.- **Performance & Compliance**:- Track KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, efficiency, inventory turnover).- Analyze data to drive continuous improvement.- Ensure adherence to industry standards and support quality/compliance initiatives (ISO, IATF).**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field- 3-5 years of production planning experience, preferably in automotive/manufacturing- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel- Strong knowledge of production and inventory management- APICS/CSCP certification preferred- Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., IATF 16949)- Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written)- Strong communication and negotiation skillsPay: $1.00 - $2.00 per monthApplication Question(s):- Are you able to have a fluent conversation in English?- What ERP/MRP systems have you worked with?Work Location: In person
