We are seeking a Senior Demand Planner to join our team in a leading distributor of apparel, footwear, and accessories, operating across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce channels. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Demand Planner based in Zapopan, Jalisco, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for analyzing market trends and historical data to generate accurate demand forecasts. The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams for production planning, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and identifying areas for process improvement. The Senior Demand Planner will play a strategic role in ensuring alignment between demand inventory analysis, seasonal collection planning (Spring & Fall), and purchasing management, ensuring optimal product availability for both seasonal and replenishment lines and their supply across the organization while maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholders. Qualifications Strong expertise in Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting Proficient Analytical Skills and experience with data‑driven decision making Experience in Purchasing Planning to align forecast with inventory and capacity Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams Proficiency with demand planning software and tool Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree a plus Key Responsibilities Develop demand forecasts by channel and season, aligned with product launch timelines and sales trends. Collaborate to build and structure the seasonal collection assortment, ensuring the right mix of styles, sizes, and depth per channel. Conduct inventory analysis (coverage, rotation, overstock/shortage risks) and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate the creation, record, and monitor purchase orders in the ERP system and communication with vendors. Analyze product performance using key indicators (sell‑through, forecast accuracy, ABC analysis). Present planning results, findings, and recommendations to management.
