Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.**Role Definition** Oversees the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems and the Quality team, with knowledge in welding, painting, and assembly processes.**Responsibilities*** Support the development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines, and control plans to ensure the quality and reliability of manufactured products.* Lead the development and implementation of corrective actions and preventive measures to achieve quality targets.* Investigate and address trends related to internal and external non-conformance.* Lead, manage, and develop multiple teams, team leaders, quality gates, quality technicians, and quality analysts to ensure quality standards are met.* Develop and review reports to share with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to resolve quality issues.**Degree Requirement*** Engineering degree.**Skill Descriptors****Decision Making and Critical Thinking:*** Make decisions based on data and specifications, considering business needs.**Effective Communication:*** Establish interdepartmental relationships to foster teamwork.* Maintain relationships and communication with international customers (calls, emails, meetings, etc.).**Lean Manufacturing:*** Use LEAN tools to eliminate waste.**Problem Solving:*** Apply problem-solving tools to identify root causes (8 steps, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).**Quality Management System (QMS):*** Monitor Caterpillar’s Quality Management System.* Knowledge of product specifications.* Familiarity with CQMS or ISO 9001.**Additional Information*** Location: Santa Catarina* Travel: 15% (national and international)* Visa sponsorship is not provided.* Work schedule: Monday – Friday (6:24 AM to 5:00 PM)* Availability for overtime on weekends or weekdays.* Intermediate to advanced English required.* Proficiency in MS Office.* Relocation is not authorized.* Do not forget to attach your resume to the application.**Top Candidates Will Have:*** Experience with Power BI.* Advanced English.* Knowledge of CRIO Model or 3D software.**Final Details**Caterpillar’s Code of Conduct states that we select and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
