**Join the Cypress Door & Glass Family****About Us**:At Cypress Door & Glass LLC, we’re not just another company—we’re a veteran-owned powerhouse shaking up the commercial doors and windows scene Proudly featured on the INC 5000 list of fastest-growing companies, we believe in cultivating a vibrant culture, upholding our core values, and creating growth opportunities for our amazing team members.This is a **hybrid role** with high autonomy and a broad scope — from reconciling day-to-day transactions to advising on high-level financial decisions.**Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Accounting**- Maintain complete and accurate records in **QuickBooks Online**:- Oversee invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank/card reconciliations- Manage employee expenses and company cards using **Ramp**:- Ensure smooth and timely monthly close and year-end processes**Payroll & Tax Compliance**- Set up and manage payroll systems and **file local, state, and federal payroll taxes**:- Maintain compliance across **multiple U.S. states** for employees or contractors- Coordinate payroll runs, reporting, and benefit contributions with external providers- Respond to tax notices and handle audit requests when needed**Financial Reporting & Analysis**- Prepare and **present monthly and quarterly financial reports** to stakeholders- Conduct **budget vs. actual variance analysis** with actionable insights- Support financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting- Implement and refine processes for scalable reporting and oversight**Software & System Optimization**- Leverage **QuickBooks Online, Ramp, and Google Workspace** (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail)- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting templates in Google Sheets- Evaluate and recommend tools for automation and financial efficiency**Required Qualifications**- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, CFO, or controller-level roles- **Strong experience supporting service industry companies**, preferably across multiple U.S. states- Hands-on expertise with **QuickBooks Online**, **Ramp**, and **Google Workspace**:- Experience handling **multi-state payroll and payroll tax filings**:- Proven ability to prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial statements- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, and **variance reporting**:- Excellent communication skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders**Bonus Skills**- Familiarity with Gusto, ADP, or other payroll providers- Knowledge of Zapier, Airtable, Notion, or similar tools- Experience in startup, agency, or fast-growing environments- CPA, MBA, or equivalent credentials (preferred but not required)**What We Offer**- 100% remote flexibility- High-trust environment with strategic influence- Ownership of critical financial infrastructure- Competitive compensation and potential for long-term collaboration**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-timePay: $225.00 - $338.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: Remote
