A strong background in product-driven companies is highly valued, as we are looking for someone with a user-centered mindset and experience in building scalable, maintainable platforms with long-term impact.- Responsibilities: Actively design and own the detailed architecture of microservices.- Review pull requests and guide engineers through code-level decisions and best practices.- Lead by example, participating in the technical implementation and mentoring team members.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend and frontend) to ensure high-quality delivery of digital products.- Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable, and performant technical solutions.- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.- Recent and practical experience with GCP, GKE, Java/Spring Boot, and Python.- Solid technical background with a strong focus on Java backend development.- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React and Next.js.- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.- Experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-availability systems.- Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services integration.- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).- Experience with databases and caching technologies like Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL.- Strong problem-solving skills with a product-oriented mindset, capable of balancing user needs with technical decisions.- Experience working in product-driven environments or companies.- Excellent communication skills in Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to engage stakeholders and align on goals.- Understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience leading teams through iterative development cycles.- Ability to mentor, knowledge sharing, and uplifting the engineering culture.
