As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.Join a dynamic and cohesive team dedicated to rapidly delivering server capacity and ensuring seamless operations within Google's global data center network. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement quality management solutions that drive the growth of our data centers.Our team combines technology with optimized processes to achieve unparalleled data center operational excellence. We partner with Global Supply Chain, Global Server Operations, Data Center Software, and Platform product teams to streamline server capacity delivery and sustainment. This involves shaping supply chain software, prioritizing tasks, and constantly refining the physical processes that underpin our success.**Responsibilities**:- Drive the design, development, and deployment of data center systems worldwide, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring strategic alignment across Engineering, Product, Operations, Supply Chain, and Fleet Deployment.- Own the entire product lifecycle for critical data center software tools, from requirements and documentation (e.g., Business Requirements Document (BRD), Pilot Plan) through user acceptance testing, feedback collection, and continuous refinement for maximum uptime.- Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to define project scope, manage intake of new features, provide resource visibility, and ensure accountability for planning and delivery.- Support the development of people, processes, and tools to ensure efficient, predictable, and scalable delivery performance, contributing directly to data center uptime, defect, and cost reduction.- Help the business to deliver data center uptime, operational performance variation reduction, defect reduction, and cost reduction.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
