As Sr Import/Export Specialist, you will be responsible to perform day-to-day activities to support customs operations for the site.- Perform master data and BOM data updates on Import/Export software from ERP systems.- Prepare required documentation for cross-border import/export shipments and monitor customs clearance.- Prepare documentation for small parcel air imports and monitor customs clearance and delivery.- Prepare documentation and coordinate virtual pedimentos with suppliers and customers.- Prepare documentation and coordinate with croos-dock and broker for fixed assets and MRO imports.- Consolidate weekly pedimentos and provide required reports to broker.- Integration of customs file for each import/export transaction and pedimento to comply with recordkeeping requirements.- Support inventory control activities:- Process documentation for change or regime and regularization.- Update export documents for correct backflush on special operations (scrap, rework, etc.).- Support fixed assets inventory control activities:- Perform physical audits as assigned by Supervisor.- Perform equipment tagging with import pedimentos.- Register all import/export transactions and pedimentos accurately on import/export software.**YOU MUST HAVE**:- Professional with 3 to 5 years of relevant Trade Compliance experience on similar position.- Proficient on English, spoken and written, preferred.- Used to work under pressure.- Knowledge required on IMMEX, ProSec, OEA & VAT certifications, Annex 22 (Pedimentos).- Basic knowledge required on Annex 24/31.- Personal leadership skills to perform job with mínimal supervision and execute tasks assigned timely.**WE VALUE**:- Aptitude for compliance- Some experience in export compliance- Understanding of export regulations, including the ITAR, EAR and OFAC, is helpful- Ability to interpret and understand the impact of Export Control Reform- Strong writing skills; Experience in drafting reports, contracts, agreements, presentations- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills a plus- Proactive, well-organized, highly motivated- Experience with MS OfficeAt Resideo, we bring together diverse individuals to build the future of homes.
