We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.- “At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member._- Our paid leave package is at the forefront in Mexico, now you have one more reason to be HSBC and proudly live a culture of well-being, balance and car care”_We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Devops Engineer**- Relevant Experience of working in PRD and Incident management.- **Experience of handling crisis situations and disaster recovery.**:- **Good knowledge of Core Java (preferably on Java 8) and RMI**:- **Expertise in controlling the PRD stats like incident, problems, user requests and breaks.**:- Knowledge of detecting the potential breaks in PRD and proactive measure implementation.- Business knowledge of Derivatives markets and preferably the back office knowledge.- **Good knowledge of Calypso as a back office system gained through experience with settlements and accounting functionality.**:- **Excellent communication skills with business.**:- Experience of continuous delivery using the devops practices.- **Good knowledge of DevOps and AGILE principles.**:- **Good knowledge of Various automation tools, Open Source Technologies and Cloud Services.**:- Unix Shell or PERL or Python Scripting.- Knowledge of Middleware Technologies preferably IBM WebSphere MQ/Solace.- Good to have an experience on Ticketing Tools like GSD or Service Now or Remedy.- **Excellent knowledge of Database and SQL Queries (preferably Sybase)**:- **Good knowledge of Unix and familiar with the troubleshooting around complex systems.**:- **Should have a good knowledge of Control M and automated scheduling process.**:Requirements**IDEAL EXPERIENCE**- Knowledge of Jenkins, JIRA and version control tools like RTC, GIT or subversion. Maven, CICD pipeline- Knowledge of Calypso as a back office system gained through experience with settlements and accounting functionality- Experience of SQL and database procedures gained through either Sybase, Oracle or SQL-Server- **Good knowledge of Core Java (preferably on Java8) and RMI**:- Jenkins, Ant build, Maven, Continuous integration.- Ansible or Other Deployment Tools.- Version control tools like GIT, RTC.- **Troubleshooting and problem solving will be essential skill.**:- Able to handle crisis situations without any slippage on timely communication.- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.- Comfortable operating in an “agile” development team, self-starting, motivated.- Takes ownership, pride in delivered work- Good deadline management and communication for delays, slippages.- Knowledge of primary market Investment Banking products.- Knowledge of Fixed Income products- Knowledge of derivative products such as Credit.
