Asset Management Manager

As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a dynamic fully bilingual **Asset Management Manager** and be part of our Operations team in San Luis Potosi Mexico.In this role, you will develops and implements daily and long-term strategic management of physical assets within Outokumpu that enables asset performance and supports Outokumpu Mexinox strategic plans and objectives.Outokumpu is the global leader in sustainable stainless steel. The Americas is headquartered in Calvert, Mobile County, Alabama; home to one of the most technically advanced integrated stainless-steel mill in the United States. The Americas’ footprint also expands to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, which is the only stainless steel cold rolling mill plus service center in the country. Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil.**Job qualifications and experience requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in engineering field- Master's degree in engineering or comparable education- Fluency in English (written and verbal)- At least 5-10 years of total experience working with production assets, operations, maintenance and/or technical projects- Knowledge of the ISO 9001-ISO 14001 Quality System- Several years of leadership experience in progressively responsible roles preferred- Strong leadership and collaboration skills for cross-functional, multi-disciplinary work: Holistic understanding of the life cycle of physical assets- High interest and ability to handle IT tools and data**Responsibilities**:- Primary function is to establish and oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of assets within the organization- Recommend and create policies, processes and standards for asset inventory management and MRO- Develop life cycle mapping of all Outokumpu physical process assets- Develop and implement an acceleration initiative to stabilize and achieve sustainable changes in mission critical process lines- Develop and support all sites in maintaining a physical asset risk profile and using risk-based asset management for rational decision making- Train and educate leaders, managers and supervisors to build workforce commitment to understand and support risk-based asset management.- Defines and measures success metrics and monitors to ensure assets are aligned and meet Outokumpu's mission- Identify and help resolve resources, priorities and financing as it relates to physical asset management.- Provide regular updates of progress and results to company management in physical asset managementShared responsibilities:- Lead change management activities related to asset management and operational reliability- Ensure regular communication at all levels- Identify and manage anticipated resistance- Support and engage senior leaders and manage communication from other stakeholders- Business impact, if applicable (e.g. budget, volumes, revenue, direct/indirect liability)- Job qualifications and experience requirements:- Expert in change management and willing to drive transformational change**Competencies and skills**:- Excellent communication skills (fluent in English)- Active team member and strong leadership- Strong analytical skills- Strong time-management skills- Detail oriented**Salary range**: 88,080 - 121,100 pesosTe ofrecemos:Vales de despensa - Fondo de ahorro - Plan de retiro - Aguinaldo superior al establecido por ley Vacaciones de ley - Prima de vacaciones superior a la establecida por ley - Incentivo de producción mensual o incentivo anual de ventas.
