Business System Administrator

The Science & Enabling Units IT is AZ’s global IT capability function supporting key business areas operating out of sites across the US, UK, Sweden, India & Mexico.**Global commercial operations (GCO) **is part of the Global Business Services and is the operating arm that supports AstraZeneca Global Marketing teams with quality, relevant, and up-to-date **Commercial Content, **support marketing campaigns with** Multi-Channel Marketing capabilities, Digital Multi Channel Brand analytics, and Global Meetings & Events.****Global Meetings and Events** service is focused on creating an enterprise-wide approach to meetings management logistics for all non-field led HCP and internal meetings, to facilitate end-to-end management of key planning milestones, as well as oversight for execution, compliance, and financial processes. To meet the objective, the GME service team is to provide in-house delivery for registration websites, meeting apps, reporting, and the use of virtual cards.The **Jr Business System Administrator** will be part of the Operations Team in Global Meetings and Events Team. The incumbent will be responsible for the event management system (Cvent) and processes to drive best-in-class meeting and events planning services that are cost-effective and deliver value to AstraZeneca. Reporting to the GME Operations Lead, this role has the responsibility to manage the day-to-day system support while working to establish and implement best practices with regard to product management and strong data integrity. The role will be focused on supporting the services across US, EMEA & APAC and global congresses team.**Role and Responsibilities**- Responsible for ongoing system and user maintenance which includes workflow configuration, SOP updates, user/license access, template configuration, field values, data lists, sourcing settings, and all other configurations due to changing business needs- Serve as the SME for the Cvent platform providing guidance and recommendation for future changes- Collaborate with the Training team to ensure all operational SOPs are kept current, and with the QA team to ensure data integrity is maintained- Work closely with AstraZeneca IT and vendor to monitor and maintain overall system health, growth, and all integrations- Provide recommendations to GME Service governance process for improvements and changes to the system- Manage the technology release plan and coordinate with the GME Training specialist to ensure changes to the GME Technology are delivered with mínimal impact on business operations- To learn cross-functional tasks(Web Development & Reporting etc) and support on a need basis.**Essential Requirements**- Excellent communication (written & spoken) and Interpersonal Skills.- Experience with 1-3 years of overall experience- Previous experience working across a geographically diverse team is an added advantage- Able to anticipate risks and devise solutions that are effectively communicated in a simple and clear way**Desirable**- Experience in working in Sales & Marketing portfolios preferably in the Life Sciences Industry.- Experience in any product management, preferably in the Meetings & events space.- Knowledge of Web Services & Service Oriented Architecture.- Experience working in a shared service environment.- Experience working with 3rd party providers.**_ Technology at AstraZeneca is a home for purposeful disruptors_**Ours is a place to innovate, take ownership and run with it.
