Throughout our history, Everest has maintained its discipline and focus on creating long term value through Underwriting excellence and strong risk and Capital Management.Role Purpose:The primary purpose of this role is to support the development and execution of the Mexico underwriting strategy through Engineering Risk analysis and Loss Control services to the Active Underwriter and the wider underwriting community across Everest Global Markets in its delivery. The primary line of work is property and, to a lesser extent, energy and construction.Core Responsibilities:- Performing field Loss Control surveys and service work approximately 40% of their available time on local accounts within a 300 mile radius and out of area with pre-approved travel- Providing marketing support, marketing material development and being available at point of sale presentations when Loss Control participation is requested- Development of Loss Control and Underwriting support materials such as report forms, service instructions, training materials and programs and Underwriting Guidelines.- Develop and manage service delivery tools including forms, best practice guidelines & training tools.- Develop & implement initiatives, procedures, and tools in response to emerging issues and opportunities impacting underwriting profitability and production.- Completion of underwriting surveys on large technically demanding accounts.- Completion of prospect surveys on large potential accounts.- Participating in large account marketing efforts and broker / producer contacts as well as marketing of Everest loss control products and services.- Coordination and management of out of territory service for assigned accounts.- Responding to policyholder and producer requests for LC assistance.Qualifications:- Experience at least 8 years of experience in loss control- Possess strong writing, verbal, & interpersonal skills.- English, advanced level- Willing to travel up to 50% of available time.Competencies:The role holder will be required to embrace the Everest Core Values: Collaboration, Thoughtful Assumption of Risk, Execution, Efficiency, Humility, Leadership, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.Type:RegularTime Type:Full timePrimary Location:Mexico City, MexicoAdditional Locations:
