Purpose Statement: The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating the administration, execution and analysis of a broad range of employee compensation and benefit plans and programs. This position’s primary responsibility is to provide benefits and compensation support to the employees of Plexus directly or indirectly through HR partners. This position will manage and provide oversight to our vendors and insurance carriers to ensure ongoing service delivery to employees, identify and resolve both participant and plan-level errors, and identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies. Responsible for managing components of compensation benefits delivery, such as projects related to open enrollment, the addition of new plan offerings, and total rewards statements explaining overall rewards.Key Job Accountabilities:- Develop, update, and conduct employee communication and education programs to create an understanding of compensation and benefits programs with employees, HR partners and managers.- Analyze new and existing programs to ensure they provide value to employees and the Company, with a focus on affordability and sense of reward employees feel for their commitment to Plexus.- Partner with corporate and site HR professionals to provide timely and accurate customer support to employees and managers and create appropriate tools to aid in efficient decision making.- Performs competitive and gap analysis through surveys and internal assessments to monitor the cost effectiveness and consistency of programs. Advises on the appropriate course of action for longer term strategic planning.- Create mechanisms to support the needs to the business in attracting, motivating and retaining the top talent to fulfill the Best People organizational strategy.Additional Accountabilities:- Knows the business, be a strategic partner, have a global perspective, and demonstrate leadership in the area of compensation, benefits and other rewards.- Preparation of various reports including: Form 5500, benefits survey and dependent audits.- Document benefit and compensation administration practices and system procedures focusing on best practices. Assist with periodic plan audits conducted by external auditors to ensure accurate eligibility reporting and costs.- Assist with ACA duties such as: analysis of data as it relates to ACA requirements, set-up of initial measurement periods for new hires, rehires; prepare and audit reports to maintain ACA compliance; monitor employee hours report to ensure adherence to maximum hours and ACA triggers.- Networks and builds relationships with internal Plexus counterparts across the globe, as well as external peers and industry experts for benchmarking and networking purposes.- Ensures systems are in place within the organization to effectively manage programs, including technical systems, processes and systems of management.- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 10%).- Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.- Less than One (1) year of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications:- Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, research, quantitative analysis and organizational skills are paramount for the employee to successfully perform in this position.- Intermediate change management skills.- Advanced ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities.- Advanced ability to plan, organize, and drive projects to completion.- Self-motivated and aggressive with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Strong organizational and analytical skills needed.- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Must be competent at an intermediate to advanced level in MS Excel.- General office equipment and materials.Work Environment:- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform._
