Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager will report to the Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for managing technical projects to ensure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget, and scope. Working with the Enterprise Technology team, you will plan Liveops’ technical projects in detail, set milestones and schedules for all project team members, engage stakeholders, and execute each step of the project. This position requires project management expertise, technology/IT experience, and people management skills. In this role, you may simultaneously manage multiple technical projects with varying degrees of complexity. The Purpose of Your Role The Technical Project Manager is accountable for leading and coordinating technology initiatives related to cloud migration, data management, enterprise applications, and infrastructure modernization. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise architecture, compliance, and business strategy. The Qualifications We’re Looking For 5+ years of progressive experience in project management within IT, with strong focus on cloud migrations, data initiatives, and enterprise applications Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale technical projects end-to-end, using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master preferred Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise data management concepts Familiarity with Salesforce implementations Exposure to enterprise architecture practices, security frameworks, or data governance operating models Understanding of regulatory frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO27001, PCI DSS) and ability to ensure projects meet compliance requirements Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing vendors/partners Excellent organizational skills to successfully manage multiple projects Proven track record of quality execution, results-driven mindset, risk assessment and mitigation, and sense of urgency in resolving challenges as they arise Strong executive communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to tailor updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with vendors, peers, stakeholders, and management Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, and/or another equivalent project management tool Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services is preferred Familiarity with organizational change management methodologies is preferred The Competencies You Bring Business Acumen * Individual Impact & Influence * Organizational Awareness * Dealing with Ambiguity * Use of Technical/Functional Expertise The Value You Deliver Project Delivery Lead the technical project team to gather necessary information and stakeholder requirements Define project scope, goals, and success metrics Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and deliverables Schedule and lead meetings/scrum ceremonies, effectively document information, and communicate action items and risks Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Ensure milestones and KPIs are tracked and met Ensure all the required deliverables are produced and reviewed Coordinate execution of cloud migration activities across infrastructure, applications, and vendors Manage project workstreams supporting data governance, quality, and integration, ensuring deliverables meet agreed requirements Facilitate reviews with Enterprise Architecture and Security teams to confirm alignment with organizational standards and policies Facilitate the implementation of technical solutions (including client onboarding) Risk Compliance & Security Identify and monitor project risks, dependencies, and regulatory requirements Ensure timely resolution of project roadblocks; manage and appropriately escalated delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with project deliverables Partner with Security, GRC, and Compliance stakeholders to integrate required controls into project plans Serve as the primary point of contact between business, technical teams, and vendors Manage project-related vendor deliverables, service levels, and escalations Ensure stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Governance & Reporting Provide progress reports, dashboards, and executive briefings Support executive team decision-making by preparing status, risks, and recommendations Document lessons learned and process improvements Essential Job Functions Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time while working on a computer. Available for virtual meetings in a non-distracted environment. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Ability to travel as needed (Approx. 5%).
