**Position Summary**Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations related to STPS (Inspections on Safety and Hygiene), SEMARNAT, Civil Protection (Income of Internal Programs of Civil Protection) and IMSS legislation (Investigation of Accidents and ST7 ); Provide training to operations based on applicable legal requirements. Develop, implement and monitor strategies, policies, safety and environmental programs that promote a safe workplace and sustainable development. Examine the operational activities for the prevention of unsafe acts and conditions that may put at risk the integrity of the human factor, the facilities and / or the environment. Conduct environmental and safety audits and assessments. Acts as an agent of change. Ensure that staff are trained at all levels and that AutoZoners recognize their own contribution to improved performance. Support your colleagues in all matters related to safety, the environment, civil protection and the IMSS. Carry out the investigations of the injuries and collisions medinate the determination of the analysis of root cause and recommend the preventive actions to avoid the recurrence.**Position Responsibilities**:Manage safety and environmental programs including safety training for drivers and store staff. Ensures to comply all permit related issues (SEMARNAT, Civil Protection, Fire Department, STPS, and IMSS). Monitors stores for regulatory compliance. Develop and Implement safety and environmental strategies that ensure an improvement at his/her assigned regionDevelop and implement safety and environmental strategies and action plans that guarantee a safe workplace and sustainable development. Determine the necessary adjustments for the implementation of new projects that involve security, environmental and civil protection aspects.Promote and raise awareness, at all levels, of the impact of emerging issues of security, civil protection and the environment, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility. Train and certify AutoZoners in related defensive driving issues.Track the database to monitor safety and environmental aspects in store audits, analyze and report performance for business continuitySupports the team in all matters related to occupational safety, occupational health and the environment.**Position Requirements**:Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Medicine, businessYears of Experience: Two to three years.Type of Experience: Legislation on Labor Safety, Environment, Occupational Health and Civil Protection.Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Training plans, ergonomics, Occupational, environmental and / or contingency health, defensive management.
