We are proud to provide high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.**Job Description**:**Scope & Impact**:This position will provide hands on, direct support for the procurement of Capital and Services for 11 plants in the Central and Andean business units (Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru).**About the role**:- The person holding this position is accountable for:- Strategically sourcing capital equipment, MRO and related services- Managing and implementing procurement projects to support the operations of our plants in the Central and Andean business units (Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) plant operations- Ensuring best practice and best total cost of ownership.**This position can be based in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador or Peru.****Reporting Relashionships**:This position reports to the Global Sourcing Manager, Capex**Qualifications**:**Your responsibilities**:- Develops and executes strategic sourcing activities for assigned spend categories, leveraging industry best practices, commodity experience, sourcing methodology and global partnerships whenever possible, under the supervision of the Team Lead - Capital & Procurement Manager.- Develops RFI / RFP / RFQ activities for new and existing requirements.- Procures material from vendor in a cost effective manner while remaining consistent with quality, delivery, and project priority- Negotiates vendor contracts to meet business requirements and ensuring compliance with legal standards- Manages supplier performance in order to meet all quality and delivery requirements- Implements sourcing projects across multiple plants for standardization, preferred supplier utilization, cost savings and operational efficiencies- Researches and analyzes quotations received, selects or recommends vendor- Analyzes and reports preferred vendor utilization, savings project completion, supplier savings validations, inflation, inventory history, utilization/consumption, etc.- Develops and tracks KPI’s /metrics including EBIT cost savings, working capital and inflation.- Proactively resolves issues (ie, material shortages, quality issue, etc) with vendors and internal customers utilizing organizational savvy and problem solving skills.- Takes proactive approach to resolve issues with vendors and internal customers utilizing organizational savvy, strong analytical and problem solving skills- Builds trust based, service oriented, value added relationships with suppliers, internal customers, teammates and cross-functional departments- Assists and / or leads special projects as required / assigned.- Delivers cost savings to EBIT, CASH and Cost Avoidance targets**Technical & Soft Skills**:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related-area. Capital Equipment/Construction/service experience and knowledge of the local markets (Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru) preferred.- Minimum 3 - 5 years procurement experience (proficient in negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing process).- Proficient analytical and computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Suite, Ariba contract management).- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish)- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.- Excellent communication and influencing skills- Strong strategic and analytical skills- Project management skills- Excellent time management skills & ability to address multiple projects across multiple plants simultaneously.- Strong sense of prioritization in highly dynamic environments- Hands on, can do attitude and self-motivation- Demonstrated successful stakeholder management and influencing skills as well as cross-functional connectivity**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**- 10% of working timeAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
