In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.**This position reports to**:Production Development Manager**Your responsibilities**:- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.**Your background**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Administrator, Mechanical or Electric Mechanic Engineering.- 3 years of experience working with electrical products.- Demonstrated experience working on a production line. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.).- Machine process experience.- Knowledge of 5s - Lean and SMEDA.- Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.- Advanced English.**More about us**:
