As member of the global AWS tech community, you will continuously educate yourself on our latest technology and specialize deeply in the Modernization services portfolio.AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing smallKey job responsibilitiesAs a key member of the AWS Specialist Solutions Architecture team your work will include:- Working closely with our product and field teams, you will help enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy Container based services on AWS infrastructure- Design best in class Container infrastructure solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles.- You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy container strategies.- Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.- You will also work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions.- Thought Leadership - Evangelize and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.- Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer driven product improvement feedback.A day in the lifeIn this role, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of cloud architecture, working closely with customers to design, scalable, and secure cloud modernization solutions. That’s why you’ll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Associate's degree or above- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS- 3+ years of experience in designing architectures, implementation experience and workload migrations to the Cloud in migration and modernization services (Kubernetes, Container services)
