It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing- We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business._Genesys is looking for a highly driven Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics Team This is a unique position which requires deep business and technical expertise coupled with the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will go deep into one or more areas of our business and partner with those stakeholders to assess business outcome requirements, analyze their data insights needs and challenges, identify process improvement and automation opportunities, propose business and system architectures, initiate proofs of concept efforts for specific outcomes and capabilities, develop a backlog of epics and stories, and work closely the Enterprise Data Strategy and Enterprise Data Governance managersThe role of a Business Systems Analyst will have responsibility for providing business, functional, and technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, documentation of process, data, and functional solutions through data operations.This is a full-time, remote role preferably based out of Guadalajara, Jal. or Mexico City and the immediate team this individual will work with is in the United States.What you'll get to do:- Help our business understand how to use its data, what the best way to document our data usage, flows and data maps, and be a trusted partner.- Going beyond relationship management, you’ll embed yourself into a customer facing business area, be a trusted partner, help them understand how their data works, how to best use their data, record data priorities and process, and provide progress updates on our team commitments to those business stakeholders and our leadership- Use your business sense and process knowledge to evaluate things holistically and think through the objectives, impacts, best practices, tradeoffs, while working with our leaders to support the business.- Use your excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of people, to tease out and document business requirements and outcomesYour experience should include:- 3+ years of business experience, with demonstrated communication skills, data lifecycle experience, documentation, and agile processes- 3+ years of experience reviewing and writing technical & business requirements in relation for documentation- 3+ years of experience in marketing, finance, operational, or management reporting as a business systems analyst- Strong empathy for customers and the ability to think, communicate, and partner with department and company leaders- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirable Qualifications Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in the field of business, computer science or similar area or equivalent work experience- Salesforce or other CRM experience- Finance or ERP systems experience- Jira experience- Visio/Miro/Mural experienceCovid-19:Safety for our employees and our communities is a key priority for Genesys.
