Acting as the main point of contact, you will conduct phone screens, review patient’s basic medical information to determine eligibility, discuss research opportunities, maintain patient database and report recruitment outcomes.Some responsibilities:- Screen potential study participants according to telescreen questionnaire to determine suitability for trials- Accurately review, enter and edit patient information in CTMS system- Book patient appointments into CTMS ensuring that entries are accurate and up to date- Attend all study related training and ensure working knowledge of study protocol- Responsible for meeting daily recruitment targets including but not limited to daily calls made, pre-screens completed, leads contacted in timely manner, screenings/PIV scheduled- Identify appropriate study opportunities for interested volunteers based on knowledge of clinical trials and neighboring locations- Effectively communicate importance of research participation and relevant study details to volunteers- Provide an exceptional patient experience by building positive rapport and consistent follow-up- Etc...**Minimum Requirements**:- Excellent English communication - written and verbal skills- bachelor's degree- Experience in customer service or sales position will be considered an asset- Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner- A basic understanding of medical terminology would be helpful but not essentialBenefits of Working in ICON:Our success depends on the quality of our people.
