We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Financial Analyst to help support our Work Furniture business. In our Work Furniture business, we design, manufacture, and distribute a wide range of components and finished products that enhance comfort, motion, and style in the work and home furniture industry. From surface-critical bent tube assemblies and molded plywood components to chair mechanisms, bases, arms, seats, and backs, our Work Furniture business brings diverse world-class manufacturing capabilities together in the production and assembly of high-quality products. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.As a Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to partner with business and functional leaders to develop and maintain financial and operational reporting/analyses. The global teams you will be working with form community through their individual and shared experiences. These teams value curious minds, strategic thinkers, and hard work balanced with self-care.**So, what will you be doing as a Financial Analyst?**- Financial reporting: Develop and maintain recurring reports for various stakeholders, including the local leadership, Work Furniture leadership, and corporate.- Financial analysis: Design and implement analytical tools for business leaders to drive profitable results. This includes rigorous analytical support for what-if scenarios, income statement and balance sheet forecasts, and variance analysis.- Pricing analysis: Support the business in making informed decisions to ensure profitable growth as it relates to customer pricing. Streamline and standardize the reporting and analysis support for pricing decisions. Develop processes to proactively understand cost changes in major commodities and transportation and build reporting requirements to assure understanding of price and cost implications.- Systems expert: Ability and interest to become the Work Furniture finance expert on the local ERP. This includes report and data extraction, systems set-up, and coordination with local and corporate IT systems teams.**To be successful in this role, you’ll need**:- Bachelor-level degree in Accounting, Finance or related field- 2+ years FP&A and/or manufacturing finance experience. This includes knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, materials management, and accounting basics.- Good understanding of financial (ERP) systems and IT infrastructure with a strong understanding of financial accounting fundamentals.- Demonstrated ability to leverage complex data management systems.**Things we consider a plus**:- MBA, CMA or CPA- Hyperion Enterprise knowledge- Proficient bilingual Spanish/English communicator**What to Do Next****Our Commitment to You**Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veteran/Disability Employer
