**What your background should look like**:**THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN TECATE****ACTIVITIES**:- Make decisions to ensure that the final product meets the most current customer input requirements.- Leads a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, develop and implement new products that meet customer requirements.- Authorize and / or justify purchases for the acquisition of equipment,machinery, tools, materials, etc., necessary for the development of new products and / or models.- Manage all your staff a burden to carry out theiractivities in an efficient, effective and at a lower cost, maximizing the budget to meet the objectives set.- Participates in continuous improvement and advises all departments on situations of technical conflict for the resolution of engineering problems.- Coordinates activities with other departments (Production, Quality, Materials, Human Resources, Maintenance) to ensure that new products are implemented in an effective way, guaranteeing the best quality, manufacturing, operation and at the lowest cost.- It ensures that all documentation and records which provide evidence that the design, validation and verification of the design were developed, collected, archived and maintained according to the documentation requirements.- Responsible for selecting its staff with the characteristics and capabilitiesnecessary for the development and proper functioning of the engineering department.**REQUIREMENTS**:- 6 to 8 years of experience in similar functions.- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma- Advanced English**Competencies**:- Building Effective Teams- Motivating Others- Managing and Measuring Work- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
