**Programmer/Analyst 1****Education**:- Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field**Experience**:- Some user support experience is nice to have but not required.**Knowledge**:- The job requires some level of understanding of the following concepts, as well as the ability to learn those not currently clear:- PostgreSQL.- Linux user- Basic knowledge of Java.- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc).**Skills**:- **Troubleshooting skills**:- Requires critical and creative thinking. Must be able to find the best possible solution to every problem, keeping the customer’s best interest in mind.- **Collaborative**:- Able to work closely with teammates, other teams, customers and management alike to achieve mutual success.- **Effective Multitasking**:- Don’t try to do everything at once, prioritize and materialize.- **Documentation skills**:- Well versed at following documented procedures, but with a keen eye for process improvement and proactively propose such changes.- **Communication**. Ability to understand and convey technical concepts into simple ideas for end users.- **Empathy**. Understand the impact every issue has on our customers, act accordingly with the proper sense of urgency.- **Patience**. Keep focus and calm while dealing with a complex situation, a very demanding customer or a tight deadline.**Responsibilities**:- Provides outstanding support to the users of our MES solution. Join a resourceful team of professionals focused on providing timely response to our customers inquiries. Diagnosing and driving issues to the appropriate resolution, with mínimal downtime to the end user. Responsible for engaging other support groups when required.
