The role supports multiple business areas and a phenomenal opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team in our Global Capability Center.**What the day will look like**Step into the lead position within the Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) North America Center of Excellence Data & Analytics team. You’ll play a key role in providing strategic data support to our risk consulting practice. Each day will bring new challenges and exciting experiences as you collaborate with senior leaders on specialized client data projects and analytics initiatives while driving improvements to existing processes through innovative technologies and enhance work you're doing across the board. We will support you as you:- Conduct insightful data analyses using sophisticated data collection systems and strategic methodologies that prioritize efficiency and quality- Work with large and complex data sets to identify key indicators and develop actionable trend and insight reports- Create and present visually engaging client reports, dynamic graphs, charts, and tables that showcase your analytical findings- Collaborate with team members on enhancing and automating reports as well as data management processes- Develop proactive methodologies for handling, collecting, analyzing and reporting from disparate data sources- Participate in critical initiatives that focus on operational improvement and recommend new insights for data quality enhancements**How this opportunity is different**Aon stands apart for its unwavering commitment to client service and integrity. We offer mentorship, coaching and training to help every colleague learn and grow- We support you in embracing smart risks, orchestrating innovation and fostering positive change.- Our collaborative environment promotes learning from experienced colleagues and emulating benchmarks for achieving efficient outcomes.**Skills and experience that will lead to success**- Confirmed working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst with 5-7 years of experience- History of training and mentoring others in data profiling, analysis and quality improvement, including scripting cleansing rules- Proficiency with computer systems, database structures and management concepts and knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets- Proficiency in Excel/VBA and programming languages such as SQL, Python and Tableau/Power BI a plus- Solid understanding of and experience with reporting packages, databases, programming and ETL frameworks- Exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to succeed in a fast-paced entrepreneurial atmosphere- Familiarity with Alteryx Designer/Server is a strong plus- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively global leadership- English level proficiency C1**Education**A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management, statistics or a related field.**How we support our colleagues**In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
