Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Hires, leads, and develops software engineering leaders and creates high performing teams.
- Sets and governs Operational Excellence guidelines for engineering practices in partnership with Enterprise Architecture.
- Leads and drives outcomes on time, on scope and on budget for software delivery and maintenance.
- Establishes and maintains engineering key performance indicators for engineering capacity management and forecasting.
- Provides day-to-day staff management, coaching, mentorship, and development, particularly to the leaders within the Engineering Department.
- Keeps an eye on industry trends and engineering training to grow the talent of our teams and individuals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Leadership & Talent Management:
- Manages teams of managers and professionals. Responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans for area. Directly oversees hiring, firing, promotion, performance management, employee training, and other personnel decisions of significance within the division or job area.
- May spend time as completing functional tasks, but primarily achieves goals through leading a team.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 10+ or more of related experience required.
- 5+ years leading a team with at least 3 years at Sr. Manager or Director level.
