At PepsiCo we create a Space to be y( )u.**Join PepsiCo, dare to transform.****Responsibilities**:**The Opportunity**Develop and lead research strategies to guide informed product design decisions for innovation, brand stewardship, productivity and portfolio transformations through global and local sensory and consumer research capabilities, product insights and deep technical expertise across Beverages and Foods R&D organizations.**Your Impact**As The**Sensory & Consumer Experience Scientist **your scope will consist of:- Work closely with key cross functional stakeholders to create a learning plan for R&D projects regarding product, process or package decisions for Beverages and Grains categories in LatAm- Leverage existing global EXP processes and protocols and implement locally to drive time and cost efficiencies within the teams supported- Coordinate and execute the consumer testing studies resulting from these research paths (questionnaires, coding of samples, etc).- Interact and coordinate with consumer testing vendors ensuring best practices.- Report results from consumer testing studies and make data driven recommendations under supervision from his/her couch.- Provide actionable insights and interpretation based on research with consumers for both existing and future R&D projects. Implications of research will need to be communicated to senior managers and up to LG2 executives.- Identify opportunities in the sensory methodologies proposing new and more efficient ways for execution, analysis and reporting of sensory results.- Support the project budget management under the supervision of his/her coach.- Participate in global Experience team community taskforces to develop, align and implement new capabilities- Work closely with EXP Director to implement and promote TDC & EXP vision and missionQualifications:**Who Are We Looking For?****Education**:- BS: Major in Food Science (thesis in Sensory is preferred) or Consumer Psychology, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sensory & Consumer Research position in a consumer packaged goods company.**Experience**:- Experienced in quantitative and qualitative consumer research- Expert knowledge of discrimination, descriptive and consumer test methods- Working experience of market research tools and techniques- Working knowledge of sensory and statistical analysis programs (e.g.,FIZZ, Xlstat,MINITAB)- Ability to interpret complex data and distil into useful and actionable information.- Advanced English skills**Competencies**- Strong analytical skills- Effective communication (written and verbal)- Setting the agenda and prioritization- Leadership & Influence- Learning Agility- Good knowledge of statistical methods- Cultural sensitivity/flexibility in responding to different cultures- Self-starter, self-motivating- Strong networker internally and externallyWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
