TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.**What your background should look like**:Functions-ResponsabilitiesDirectly responsible for complying with the Production program and efficiency levels, observing the scrap quality and control requirements.Responsible for selecting, training, developing and acting as a facilitator for their supervisor.Analyze causes of rejections to ensure a good quality product.Validates and authorizes the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the Production function.Define and take preventive measures to avoid problems in the process.Detects staff and area needs. Determines the effectiveness of the use of labor and projects the needs of labor and support personnel.Advice administrations about production problems.Prepare, negotiate and manage the objectives and budgets of each department, as well as the strategies and action plans to meet the objectives.Formulate productivity reports and inform senior management.Supervise all the production personal.Coordinates activities with the different areas that make up the company to meet production plans.Supervise and evaluates measures designed to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality.Prepare preventive and corrective actions and close them.Adopt and promote the preventive measures and Health and Safety procedures established by the Company to avoid accidents or illnesses.Participate in the implementation and development of the Company's Management Systems, Certifications and Programs.Perform any other activity required by your Supervisor or Manager.SPECIFICATIONS**Requirements**:Education: Bachelors DegreeLanguages: English 90%Certifications: N/AMinimum Experience: 5-8 Years in a similar positionTechnicalLean ManufacturingSix Sigma yellow BeltProject Management**Competencies**:- Motivating Others- Building Effective Teams- Managing and Measuring Work- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
