Overview GovCIO is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Data Analyst will be responsible for data monitoring and report management during VistA Pre and Post Cutover activities. The activities to move from VistA to the new Federal EHR environment are a well-organized and analytical process requiring monitoring of data movements and reporting on legacy software usage data elements. This position is fully remote within the United States with core hours of operation from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET. Responsibilities Manage data cutover preparations and monitor cutover activities. Gather and produce cutover status reports during pre- and post-cutover activities. Leverage excellent writing skills to translate complicated issues into concise, well-written narratives. Develop and maintain summary data dashboards and workflow automation tools for executive and technical audiences. Develop or provide feedback on clear and concise data communications products and materials for internal or external audiences. Conduct research, analyze information needs, and perform analysis to support the delivery of report artifacts. Track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges. Formulate responses for weekly executive reports. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research and 8+ years of experience (or commensurate experience). 5 years related work experience required. Certifications in relevant UX software plus 3-5 years of relevant experience OR 5 to 7 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education. Great interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision. Solid experience with Microsoft and other collaborative tools including Teams, Power Apps, Jira, etc. Advanced skills in using MS Office applications, particularly SharePoint and Power Apps administration for managing dashboards and team communications across the enterprise. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess analytical skills. Clearance Required: Ability to obtain/maintain VA Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
