As we continue to expand globally, we’re seeking an experienced **Ocean & Air Import/Export Specialist** to join our **Cancún team**.**What You’ll Do**- **Coordinate Shipments**: Manage full-cycle ocean (FCL/LCL) and air import/export shipments, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery.- **Booking & Tracking**: Secure cargo bookings and monitor shipments from origin to destination, keeping stakeholders informed with timely updates.- **Documentation**: Prepare and review all essential shipping documentation (B/L, AWB, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin).- **Customs Compliance**: Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations and international trade laws; collaborate with brokers for smooth clearance.- **Client Communication**: Act as the primary contact for clients, carriers, and agents, providing professional and proactive support.- **Invoice & Cost Control**: Verify freight invoices, manage discrepancies, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.- **Collaboration**: Work closely with internal operations teams and external partners to maintain high service standards.**What We’re Looking For**- **Experience**: Minimum **5 to 8 years** in freight forwarding, with solid experience in both ocean and air operations.- **Industry Knowledge**: Strong relationships with steamship lines, drayage vendors, and carriers.- **Customs & Trade Expertise**: Solid understanding of **Incoterms** and international logistics processes.- **Skills**: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure.- **Tech**: Experience with **freight management systems** (an asset).- **Language**: Fluent in **English and Spanish** (French is an asset).**Why Join Us?**- Be part of a **Canadian logistics leader** with over 37 years of success.- **Competitive compensation package.**:- Collaborate with an **international team** serving clients across Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and beyond.- **On-site role in Cancún**, offering stability, growth, and career development.- Supportive and **team-oriented work environment.****Ready to advance your logistics career with Trans-Pro in Cancún?****Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentPay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month**Experience**:- Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding: 3 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)- Spanish (preferred)Work Location: In person
