Logre cosas extraordinarias cuando se una a nuestro equipo y marque la diferencia en su desarrollo profesional, la comunidad y en todo el mundo****Primary Purpose of Position**:The Plant Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the procurement of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and services for use at Ball Packaging North America plants.**Essential Functions**:- Converts requisitions to purchase orders and communicates orders to suppliers.- Ensures timely receipt of order acknowledgements.- Expedites open orders to ensure timely delivery of stock items.- Coordinates with other plants concerning availability of parts for shipment.- Manages inquiries from internal/external customers.- Assists with reconciling purchase orders with receiving and accounts payable colleagues.- Develops knowledge of plant operations and procurement needs.- Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.- Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.**Position Requirements**:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or graduate degree level education or work-related experience in Business Administration, or related field;- Job related experience for 2 year(s) minimum in a procurement position, preferably working in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing setting;- Working knowledge on the following areas:- Coupa- ERPs (e.g. SAP, JDE, etc.);- MS Office tools (e.g. Excel - PowerQuery/PowerPivot/Statistical Analysis, PowerPoint, etc.)- Fluent in English;- Alignment with Ball’s values;- Strong customer focus;- Excellent communication skills in a global and multicultural environment (written and oral);- Experience in working with cross functional teams in multiple countries;- Comfortable leading with ambiguity and rapidly shifting business conditions;- Result and solution-oriented;- Strong knowledge of purchase-to-pay practices;- Strong analytical skills;- Ability to be assertive, and demonstrate initiative when investigating issues;- Ability to think strategically and problem solve;- Ability to work independently;- Willingness to accept a work schedule with hourly demands which will vary as departmental workload fluctuates;- Ability to work extra hours as needed to complete assignments.**Ball Corporation es un empleador que ofrece igualdad de oportunidades.
