Operation Manager

**Responsibilities- Drive performance in the Engineering, Production and Service departments and provide guidance to achieve organizational goals and promote a culture of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement while achieving financial targets.- Analyze site production metrics, data, and processes to develop strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity.- Budget for manufacturing expenses and control and reduce manufacturing costs.- Provide overall direction for production scheduling, production capacity and planning to meet customer expectations.- Develop manufacturing capabilities to meet customer needs.- Develop manufacturing personnel skills to meet needs of manufacturing customers and grow talent for our organization.- Improve manufacturing systems for optimal quality, OTD and cost.- Plan capital equipment needs for manufacturing.- Leverage Perfect Execution strategies to reduce lead time and deliver world class service levels.- Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are in place and each core function is measured against same.- Continuous improvement through meetings, severity rate safety targets, and memorable incidents.- Continuous improvement through the coordination of lean manufacturing programs.- Coordinate the implementation of best practices through error-proof systems.- Daily coordination of activities to support deliveries on time to customers.- Improvement of the time of equipment and machinery through the coordination of preventive maintenance.- Preparation of capital acquisition requisitions for the implementation of important projects.- Implementation of reduction of SCRAP programs.- Control of plant personnel to meet productivity requirements.- Activity reports for plant manager.- Attend meetings with subordinates with Production, Engineering, and maintenance personnel- Communication of activities to achieve the objectives of the company.- Drive a safety culture by foster safety hazards reporting and elimination.- Actively participate in “I Own safety”, Velocity reporting, safety and productivity committees, and COVID-19 protocols.
